中尾 純(Jun NAKAO)

The eldest son of Yasuzumi Nakao, head of Nakasen Kiln in Arita-cho, Saga.

He studied Rokuro  technique under Living National Treasure, Manji Inoue, before entering Nakasen Kiln.

He mainly creates white & pale blue porcelain .

In recent years, he received numerous awards in public exhibitions including Nihon Dento Kogei Ten.

The balance between his pure color expression and unique shapes receives high praises for pale blue ceramics.

1999      Graduates from Arita College of Ceramics

               Studies Rokuro technique under Living National Treasure, Manji Inoue, for 7 years 8 months
